‼️Trail Update‼️

All Hatfield McCoy Trail Systems are open, with recommended caution and awareness. With the high amount of water and wind that we received over the weekend, certain areas of our trails may be blocked or not accessible. Our crews will be out this week assessing conditions and clearing any damage. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to keep everyone safe.

If you’re heading to Hatfield McCoy Country, please know that our area is in a State of Emergency. With our trail systems being located within nine different counties, conditions may vary. We recommend that you reach out to your lodging facility or local community for updates on their current conditions as some areas have been greatly impacted by the weather.

Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by the recent flooding and severe weather conditions.

UPDATE: Power has been restored to downtown area of Matewan (quicker than expected!) we will be re-open at 6 pm tonight and will be back to normal hours. We can take credit cards and cash and our ATM is available as well! (FYI still no water as of now)

The store will be closed today with no power or water. Restoration of power is expected on Thursday. We will update as we find out more information. If anyone is in need of any supplies we may have please call 304-250-9408 and we can help you to whatever we have available to us. Stay safe!
