🌿 Native Land Cares will be at the Community Center on Saturday, 6/13 from 🕑 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM handing out free June Meeting / Strawberry Festival tees.

👕 Shirts are limited, with many sizes available. Please take one tee per person so everyone has a chance to receive one.

📍 If you cannot make the Saturday pickup, we will also have a table at June Meeting / Strawberry Festival on Sunday, 6/14 toward the back of the powwow grounds, in front of the red building.

🌿 Through Native Land Cares, we’re proud to continue supporting culture, community, and care.
Each year, Native Land Cares helps create and provide June Meeting / Strawberry Festival tees for Unkechaug Nation tribal members — a tradition connected to family, culture, and community here on the Poospatuck Reservation.
🍓🌕 This weekend is June Meeting, a private annual gathering for Unkechaug Nation members. While the event itself is for tribal members only, we’re proud to share a small glimpse into the cultural traditions that continue here on our land.
For us, this is more than handing out T-shirts. The Native Land family has children who proudly dance, participate, and take part in the Nation’s annual June Meeting traditions. Native Land Cares is honored to support the Nation by helping carry the culture forward and caring for the community.
The design reflects the Strawberry Moon, the woodlands of the Algonquian people on Long Island, and the roots that continue to connect our Nation.
