The Ashland Police Department will be hosting a bicycle rodeo for elementary age kids on Saturday, July 5, immediately following the parade. This will be happening in the yard at the rec center, in conjunction with other events that will be going on. The Ashland District School graciously sent out the below shown permission slips on our behalf yesterday. If your kids are in the parade, and want to participate in the rodeo afterwards, that’s great! If your kids are not riding in the parade, they are still welcome to participate in the rodeo. There will be a safety inspection, followed by a tutorial and then a riding course. Safety Sam will likely be there as well to help make sure everyone is safe! Hopefully the sun is shining that day and we can have some fun and learn some safe riding tips. We look forward to seeing you there.

We are pleased to announce a partnership with the APD during the Ashland Summerfest to do a free bike raffle at the bike rodeo in the rec center parking lot on Saturday the 5th!
