SASSY MANAGER WANTED!
Summary/Objective:
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for receiving and organizing merchandise, employee supervision, operating printing equipment, theft-prevention, store cleanliness, totaling bills, accepting payments/making correct change and settling the drawer at the end of the shift.
Essential Functions:

* Stock shelves or counters with merchandise.
* Maintain store cleanliness and product organization.
* PROMOTE SALES. This is a sales position and up-selling is essential. Product knowledge is mandatory.
* Theft prevention: sales clerk must be comfortable with operating camera system, keeping close watch on customers and following the correct protocol when a theft occurs.
* Mark or tag prices on merchandise; maintain inventory.
* Obtain merchandise requested by customer.
* Answer customer questions concerning location, price, details and use of merchandise.
* Proficient with POS system; ability to total up price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer.
* Calculate sales discounts or split tabs when necessary.
* Accept payment and make change. Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
* Remove and record amount of cash in register at end of shift.
* Vacuuming and window washing as necessary or upon instruction.
* Re-stocking shelves at the end of every shift (after each purchase preferred).
* Keep record of sales, prepare inventory of stock and order merchandise per instruction.
* Responsible for equipment usage and maintenance.
* Employee training and management.
* Leave the store at the end of your shift cleaner than it was when you started your shift.

Supervisory Responsibility: This job requires employee supervision. Management experience is required.
Work Environment: This job operates in a retail business environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as iPad, phone, camera system, printing equipment, and stereo system.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary by schedule. Evening and weekend work may be required as schedule demands. However, we are extremely flexible with requested time off as long as it is well enough in advance.
Travel: No travel is expected for this position at this time.
Required Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or G.E.D.
* Previous retail, security or customer service experience.
* Previous management experience.

Job Type: Full-time; Management
Salary:
* Training- $13-15/hour based on experience
* Base Pay- $15-17/hour based on experience and effort
* Earned- 1% commission
