A patriotic twist on a classic

Ingredients (per drink):
• 2 oz vodka (or bourbon if you want a southern flair)
• ½ oz fresh lime juice
• 4 oz ginger beer
• 3–4 muddled strawberries (red)
• 6–8 blueberries (blue)
• Ice
• Fresh mint sprig (optional garnish)
