Still owned today by Violante Lepore and family-run, the company represents over 30 estates from different regions of Italy, ranging from independent small growe
rs to large-scaled cooperative cellars, plus two Champagne producers from France. Angela, Vito and Rino Lepore are gradually taking over the family business and assist their father in the accounting, the marketing and the sales division. Selected Estates of Europe Ltd is a direct importer and wholesaler in the states of New York, New Jersey and Florida, with regional distributors in Illinois, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Virginia and Washington. All wines in our portfolio are exclusivities, purchased directly from the producers in Italy with no middlemen or brokers involved, in order to offer to our valued clientele distinctive wines priced at the lowest possible markup. Thanks to this purchasing ethos and to a comprehensive portfolio covering Italy’s finest appellations, native grapes and terroirs, Selected Estates of Europe Ltd has grown over the past 25 years as one of the best respected importers specialized in Italian wines operating in the NY / NJ market. A capacious 50.000 sq feet estate warehouse, constantly air-conditioned and equipped with private trucks, enables Selected Estates of Europe Ltd to service wine-stores and restaurants across NY and NJ swiftly and punctually with daily deliveries. June to September our wines ship from the port of Livorno / Tuscany in refrigerated containers, to ensure optimal conditions of storage throughout the entire shipping process, from the producers’ cellar to our temperature-controlled warehouse in Mamaroneck / NY.
