❤️ A LITTLE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM JOHNNY'S STORE! 🔨

Hey y'all!

We're going to be closing up a little early today!

We've got some pretty exciting things happening behind the scenes, and we're taking the rest of the day to roll up our sleeves and make some progress on a few projects we've been working on!

Nothing we're quite ready to share just yet, but we're sure excited about the possibilities! 😉

While we're at it, we want to take a moment to say something.

Thank you. Truly. ❤️

When we first opened the doors to Johnny's Store, we had big dreams, plenty of ambition, and absolutely no idea what to expect.

What we found was a community full of wonderful people who welcomed us, supported us, encouraged us, and gave us the opportunity to do something we genuinely love.

And we don't take that for granted.

There's something pretty special about this little place and the people of Long Lane. We're incredibly grateful that we get to be a small part of it.

We've got some big ideas for the future, and while they're going to take time, patience, and probably a fair amount of head-scratching, we're excited to see where they take us.

With a little bit of luck, a whole lot of hard work, and the continued support of this wonderful community, we're hoping to make this little place an even better place to serve y'all in the years to come.

We know an early closing can throw a wrench in somebody's plans, and we sincerely appreciate your patience as we work toward what's next. We'll always do our best to give y'all a heads-up when our hours need to change.

For now, we've got some work to do, some ideas to bring to life, and probably a few trips to the hardware store in our near future. 🤣

Thank y'all for giving us a chance, for supporting our little business, and for making Johnny's Store feel like home. ❤️

We'll see y'all Monday!

🔥 THURSDAY LUNCH SPECIAL — IF WE HAVE ANY LEFT! 🤣

Well, folks, we WERE going to post our lunch special an hour ago, but apparently half of Dallas County decided to come eat at the same time! We've been running around like chickens with our heads cut off, and we're just now getting a chance to tell y'all what we've been cooking!

🌯 HONEY CHIPOTLE CHICKEN CHIMICHANGAS! 🌯

We started with chicken thighs marinated in our homemade sweet and smoky honey-chipotle marinade, grilled them over an open flame for that beautiful char, then chopped them up and mixed them with sautéed bell peppers, onions, seasoned black beans, and plenty of shredded cheese.

Then we stuffed all that goodness into flour tortillas and fried them until golden brown and crispy!

Each plate comes with:

🌯 Two crispy chicken chimichangas
🌽 Fresh homemade black bean & corn salad
🍋 House-made garlic-lime crema for dipping

Sweet, smoky, savory, and absolutely packed with flavor! Don't let the chipotle scare you — these fellas are full of flavor without setting your mouth on fire. 😋

We've already sold over HALF of what we made before we even got this post up!

So if you're wanting to try them, you might want to get your boots on and head this way!

Sweet, smoky, a little kick, and just enough char to make your taste buds pay attention!

🥪 Served with chips and a drink!

Come on down to Johnny's Store and grab some lunch! We've already played with fire, so all you've gotta do is eat! 😁

TODAY'S LUNCH AT JOHNNY'S STORE!

☀️ The sun is shining, the food is HOT, and we're about to make your cheese-loving heart real happy! 😂🤤

Today's special is LOADED CHEESEBURGER MAC! 🍔🧀

We're talking seasoned ground beef, tender elbow macaroni, and a BIG ol' pot of creamy, cheesy goodness! Made fresh and served HOT, just the way it oughta be!

It's the kind of lunch that'll make you forget you ever planned on eating a salad. 🤣🥗

🚨 PUT DOWN WHATEVER YOU WERE ABOUT TO EAT AND GET ON OVER HERE!

Grab your keys, call up your lunch buddy, and come get yourself a big ol' bowl before it's gone! Don't wait until you're hungry enough to eat the steering wheel. 😂

10/16/2026

🍂 SWEATER WEATHER HAS ARRIVED, Y'ALL! 🍂

And apparently so has everyone's appetite! 😂

Y'all cleaned us plum out of pecan sticky buns this morning! But we weren't about to let that stand, so we fired up the oven and made another batch! They're fresh, hot, and ready to go!

Now, as for lunch...

It's chilly outside, so we're serving chili inside! 🥣

We've got a big ol' pot of hearty homemade chili, served with a generous hunk of golden honey cornbread! 🍯

That's right, folks. After what felt like approximately 47 consecutive years of summer, Mother Nature finally remembered it's October, and we're celebrating the only reasonable way we know how: with enough comfort food to put a grizzly bear into hibernation. 🐻

We've also got hot coffee, cocoa, and apple c***r to help thaw out anybody who wasn't emotionally prepared for the temperature drop! ☕

So throw on a sweater, come get some chili, and enjoy this beautiful fall weather while we've got it!

We'd mention that it's supposed to be 84° next week, but frankly, that's none of our business, and we'd appreciate it if everyone would stop bringing it up. 😂🍂
