We’re open. We’re here at work and know many of you are too. That doesn’t take away from the goal of today’s strike. As an immigrant, naturalized in my twenties, I wholeheartedly stand with immigrant communities and recognize how solidarity can be expressed in many different ways.
We’ll be here for our neighbors today and for as long as we can. Because this is what community looks like.
In days and times like these and in the words of GNQ customer & friend Jack, this too shall pass. That’s him in the last slide, letting us know, to do the work, to keep on keepin on. Rest in peace, rest in power, Jack. We’ll miss you🕊️🌹
