Buckle up, this is going to be a reader post if anyone cares 😜
Line Cleaning and Draft Maintenance is important, so lets talk about it 🤓🍺🗒️🧽 With kegs, it’s important to handle these stainless steel beauties and the liquid inside them with care. From the couplers to the faucets, these are the often invisible behind the scenes measures before a b**r, c***r, or seltzer is in your glass. To keep our draft system operating at its best and in accordance with the Brewers Association standards, routine line cleaning and maintenance are a must.
Chase Dipple cleans not only the b**r lines.. but also the couplers and faucets that can also be affected by unkempt b**r, or even mold. Yelch! So every two weeks he flushes lines with water, prepares a cleaning solution, either a caustic or in this case the quarterly acid cleaner, that really helps to breakdown any inorganic matter, or b**r stone that can cling to lines. While the solution sits, couplers and faucets are scrubbed and sanitized. We also scrub the faucets nightly at closing. Everything is put back together and the cleaner is thoroughly flushed with water to ensure that no cleaner touches b**r and the resulting b**r is checked that it is safe and ready for your consumption. With pride, we do all this and more to try to bring you the best draft experience possible 🍺
