🥃SATURDAY K**B PICK!🥃

As part of our big WHISKEYFEST celebration this Saturday at our Glen Ellyn store from 2-5pm, we'll be releasing this incredible K**b Creek barrel for sale exclusively at the event!

For the first time, K**b Creek is releasing barrels at true Cask Strength, and we traveled down to Kentucky in January to pick out their best and have one of the first in Chicago!

We picked it blind not knowing the stats, proof, age, anything. This was hands down the winner between the 8 of us (our Beam rep and distillery host both agreed too!) It is 9 and a half years old and clocks in at a very solid and shockingly easy drinking 125 proof!

It has a lot of sweet notes maraschino cherry 🍒 and orange dreamsicle on the nose, then brings in a vintage dusty note on the tongue that is hard to describe other than it is reminiscent of classic whiskeys from 50-60 years ago! The mouthfeel is creamy and viscous, and brings that elegant hallmark toasted peanut 🥜 note that K**b Creek is known for. It closes with a lingering finish of cinnamon, more peanut skins and rich classic toasted oak.

This pick is NOT to be missed! Come and grab it Saturday at 2pm for our event!
