Bridge hit number 77

08/26/2026

Another bridge hit today and we missed another late night one so we are at 77. Got a call from the sheriff. Just a scrape. Another camper. Ugh.

So apparently we missed a couple of hits of the bridge. It sounds like it was hit a couple of days ago. Thanks to Long Grove
Covered Bridge
Accident
Tracker we found out. So the new number is 75. We have no video yet. So we will continue our deal. If you are in the our store when the bridge gets hit you will receive a Diamond Crown cigar on the house.
Make it a great day.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our regulars and dear friend, Rick “Whispers” Farina.
Rick earned that nickname honestly. To this day, we can still hear him from the back lounge yelling, “Hey Kenny, help me turn on The Price Is Right!” To say Rick was boisterous would be an understatement. He had a larger-than-life personality and a voice that could fill any room.
But beyond that, Rick was a fiercely loyal friend and a wonderful man to our family and our employees. Over the years, he became an irreplaceable part of our wonderfully dysfunctional cigar family. His presence, stories, laughter, and countless “Whispers-isms” will be missed.
Rest in peace, our friend. And don't worry, Rick—we've heard they play The Price Is Right 24/7 in heaven.
A small gathering will be held in Libertyville to share a cigar, tell stories, and remember all the memorable “Whispers-isms” Rick was always eager to impart on anyone willing to listen. Please stop by the shop for details.
