My cousin Cory posted this picture of Larry Smith and I am not sure if it is showing in the general news feed so i cropped it and reposted it, Larry Smith longtime patron of Belcher's passed away June 7th, at his home in Paris, Ky, he was in a lengthy relationship with our cousin Sarah and spent countless hours with our family and was at the store daily, so much so it became his Lexington office or many thought so. Larry will be missed especially by his longtime friend Bobby Lynch. Larry was the owner/operator of Diverse Erecting a steel erecting corporation, he could operate a crane like no other. Rest well Larry, and please do not tell God to "Boom Up" .

Almost 3 1/2 years ago, our dad Raymond passed away, Belcher's was so much more than just his business it was a way of life, in the 80's he decided to retire and officially make Jerry and I the owners, what an honor 3rd generation owners of the family business, the only problem was the only thing that changed was we became his boss, he was still there almost every day and still told us what to do. MIss you dad. I will always feel if we had kept the store you would still be here with us going into the place every day.
