Here's the story. Drew Newman (fourth-generation of the J.C. Newman family) heard how Lazaro Lopez — who runs the PENSA factory in Nicaragua — remembered his grandfather rolling ci**rs in 1940s Cuba without molds or presses. Instead, he'd bundle the freshly rolled, still-wet ci**rs and bind them tightly inside strips of yagua (royal palm leaf).

As they dried, the ci**rs pressed against each other and took on wild, one-of-a-kind shapes. J.C. Newman decided to bring that lost art back to life.

The result? Every single Yagua is shaped differently — pentagons, rhombuses, triangles, parallelograms. Packed in rustic crate-style boxes wrapped in actual palm leaf, they look like antiques from another century.

This is the rare Cohiba that's rolled entirely in the United States — hand-crafted in Little Havana at the legendary El Titan de Bronze, the same boutique factory behind cult-favorite ci**rs, where only the top rollers are trusted with the work.

The Reserva Plata 2026 ("Plata" = silver) is the sixth installment in the Serie M line, following last year's Reserva Azul. And it's a genuine small-batch treasure — just 3,000 numbered boxes released to the whole country. When it's gone, it's gone.
