Stop rejecting scotch because you think it tastes like smoke. 🔥🥃

That smoky, campfire taste comes from peat, and it’s mostly an Islay thing. A lot of scotch isn’t smoky at all. Some of it is honeyed and fruity, some is rich and a little spicy, and some is just smooth and easy to sip, much like a bourbon or rye.

One of the biggest w**e pairing myths is that red w**e can't go with fish. Not true! 🍷

The secret is choosing the right red. Look for w**es with lower tannins, higher acidity, and fresh fruit flavors. They pair beautifully with light, flaky white fish, and they hold up just as well to richer options like salmon.

Myth: Screw cap w**es are cheap w**es. 🙅‍♂️

Truth: Some of the best producers in the world choose screw caps on purpose. A screw cap seals the bottle the same way every time and removes the risk of cork taint, so the w**e tastes the way the w**emaker intended.

Head to New Zealand or Australia and you'll find screw caps on some of their most respected bottles. Twist-off doesn't mean low quality. 🍷
