GUESS WHATTTTT 🍕

It has been a LONG few months while we patiently (and quietly 🤐) worked through all the new changes and requirements asked of us by the state. I am THRILLED to finally share that as of today, we are officially in compliance and have been given approval to get back to cooking for y’all! 🎉

We truly cannot thank this community enough for the patience, understanding, and support you’ve shown us through this whole process. We’ve shared in your frustrations, but we’ve also been met with so many kind words, encouragement, and people reminding us to keep going, and that has meant the world to us. 💙

With that being said… starting TOMORROW, we’re firing up the ovens and getting back to slinging pizzas! 🍕🔥

Starting tomorrow morning, we’ll also have sausage dogs and breakfast sandwiches back as well.

Please bear with us as we get rolling again, we’re expecting a little longer wait times than normal due to high demand. If you’d rather not wait, we definitely recommend calling ahead to place your order.

We seriously can’t wait to see y’all again. 🫶🏼💙

Good morning, Big Red’s family! We absolutely love being a part of the fishing community and offering you live shrimp for your next catch. However, we’ve run into a few issues we need your help with.

We kindly ask that only employees handle the shrimp tank. This means no dipping shrimp or putting buckets in the tank. These shrimp are delicate, and the water must stay free of any chemicals or soap from your skin, things like cologne, lotions, or perfumes can be harmful and even fatal to them.

Thank you so much for your understanding and for helping us keep these little guys safe! Tight lines, friends!🎣😎

Good morning Big Reds Fam! First and foremost, we want to recognize that it has been too long since we have given you all an official update. Mostly, that is because we didn’t have much of an update at all.

As most of you know, about two months ago, we had to temporarily pause food service due to a hold on our food permit. Since then, we’ve been working closely with the DEP and the Department of Agriculture to get everything in order. This process has taken longer than we ever could have anticipated, but we’re pleased to share that we are finally on the final stretch! While we don’t have an exact date yet, we anticipate being able to serve you again soon. 🙏🏼

We can’t thank you enough for your patience and continued support. We’re staying dedicated, and we can’t wait to bring back your favorite meals. Stay tuned for updates, as soon as we get good news I will be sharing here!! Thank you again for being a part of the Big Red’s family!❤️

‼️ATTENTION BIG REDS CUSTOMERS‼️

**UPDATE** ALL PUMPS ARE WORKING!

**UPDATE** They came out and determined there is a part that is faulty and needs to be replaced. This cannot happen until tomorrow, so those two pumps will remain out of service for the rest of today and part of tomorrow. 😔 We will post another update when we have it.

We want to let our customers know ASAP that our regular gas pumps (1&2) are currently offline. We are working to get this issue resolved quickly, but they may be down for the remainder of today. The unfortunate reality is that dealing with technology is unpredictable and this is something we may deal with every now and then. We sincerely apologize, we know this could cause an inconvenience for those traveling thru this remote area, that rely on us. Thank you guys for the patience you continue to show us. We promise to post an update as soon as we have one.

*Both diesel pumps and the boat gas pump are working normally.

🌸 Easter Hours Update! 🌸

We will be CLOSED on Easter Sunday (April 5th) so our family can spend the day together.

Hey Big Reds fam! We unfortunately have some bad news, and we wanted you to hear it from us first.

As you know, the process to open was a longgggggg, hard to navigate, process. Rules seem to be ever changing, and the paperwork (SO.MUCH.PAPERWORK) is never ending. Unfortunately, this has been a learn as you go process, and some paperwork slipped through the cracks. Being out here in the woods, we operate on a well, and that requires special permits that directly affect our kitchen. That being said, until all paperwork is approved, we have been asked not to serve any food.

While we hope and pray this process is quick, and smooth, we are working on other people’s timelines and our hands are tied. We can’t give a definite date on being back 100% operational.

We understand this will cause an inconvenience to our customers, especially those that rely on us for breakfast, lunch breaks, and dinner. We sincerely apologize and promise we are doing everything in our power to rush this process. As soon as we are given the go ahead to serve food, I will let you all know. In the meantime we hope to see you guys in store for gas, cold drink, bait, or just to chat! 😇
