We want to make sure checkout is smooth and easy for everyone!
Beginning, November 1, 2026, North Dakota is implementing the SNAP Healthy Choice Waiver. Here's a brief guide for what will be changing for SNAP EBT payments in our store:
❌ No longer eligible via EBT: Candy, sodas, energy drinks/shots, electrolyte beverages, and sweetened beverages with added sugar or artificial sweeteners (unless they contain at least 50% real juice).
✅ Still eligible via EBT: Milk, 100% juice, unsweetened beverages, protein/granola bars, baking ingredients, and all regular grocery staples.
If you have non-eligible items in your cart, you can still pay for them using cash, debit, or credit at the register checkout.
Please remember, this will also be a learning curve for our cashiers behind the counter, and we are thankful the state has provided us with flow charts for guidance. We have also displayed the charts at the front of the store for easy accessibility.
