Our Single Barrel Old Forester has arrived. After blind tasting and picking this barrel against others, we found out that it lived its life on the top floor (8) of warehouse I. That intense heat of being so high resulted in an amazing pour. Even at 100 proof, it has all the traditional flavors of Old Forester and more. Limit (2) per household.

Our Single Barrel Russell's has arrived. Last year, we picked a winner that sold out in days. This year, our goal was to match or improve on the 2024 selection. We did a single barrel with Whistle Pig a couple of years ago. It was good. It was certainly better than the regular shelf variety of the 10 year. However, to contract another barrel from them so soon, the whiskey would HAVE to be special. It IS and we DID.
This juice actually noses like a very old and rich bourbon. It is light and playful with a layered mouthfeel. The front is sweet with caramel notes. The finish has a hint of that spice from rye but finishes warm and smooth. This is, without a doubt, one of the best that Whistle Pig has ever put out. At 111 proof, you will be very impressed. $94.99 per 750ml.
