Update 12:30PM Wednesday: If someone can provide a generator for us to borrow for our ice machine, USA Grocers can provide FREE ICE to Lake Placid.

Also, we received a shipment of WATER, CI******ES, BEER, SODA, SNACKS, CHIPS, and MORE.

Brick Oven Pizzeria is also serving FRESH HOT FOOD while supplies last.

Update 12:00AM Wednesday: Here's the current situation. There are a total of FOUR updates.

1. We spoke with our gas supplier and they told us to expect gas tomorrow by 6PM Wednesday. For those who heard 8AM for gas arrival, please note there has been a delay - it is now 6PM Wednesday. We are working diligently to get the shipment on time and are keeping our fingers crossed! We will continue to provide updates as we get new information.

2. Brick Oven Pizzeria will be serving FRESH HOT FOOD on WEDNESDAY. We have a LIMITED MENU - cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and hot wings. Pizzeria will open from 10:00AM and will continue operating as long as supplies last. Takeout only, as obviously we do not have gas to make deliveries.

3. Brick Oven Pizzeria will allow organizations to USE OUR PROPANE FOR FREE TO COOK IN THE KITCHEN FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN SHELTERS while the propane lasts. Please contact us to coordinate the logistics.

Update 2PM Monday: USA Grocers is OPEN. We have limited supplies including water, candies, chips, juices, soda, and beer. Surprisingly, our cooler has kept the drinks cold but that will not last forever. As for gas, we are trying to get in contact with our suppliers to get gas ASAP. We will continue to keep our community updated. We will continue to do what we can and urge everyone to come together and help each other out. We wish everyone is safe and hope for a quick recovery. UPDATE 1PM Saturday: USA Grocers is still open today for anyone who needs last minute supplies during this difficult time. For anyone looking for a place to eat, the pizza shop Brick Oven Pizzeria inside is still serving hot food. We will remain all day today and continue to provide an open store tomorrow if able to. USA Grocers will remain open as long as possible to assist Lake Placid with storm preparations and supplies. As of 4PM Thursday, we still have GAS (all grades available), water, batteries, ice, and more. We will continue to operate normal business hours until further notice.
