The new engine is ready for summer!
Locomotive 278 was the first train to run on the newly opened Lake City branch. Engineer Pete Ready throttled 278 into Lake City on Thursday August 15, 1889.
There had been a 7 year wait for the service.
Come see the ceiling train!
