Domaine de la Solitude Chateauneuf-du-Pape

A historic cuvée produced since the 17th century, it is a blend of our different terroirs ranging from Safres to Galets Roulés. The Safres terroirs give it finesse and elegance, while the Galets Roulés bring power and structure. It is a blend of 3 major grape varieties: Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, but also in more modest proportions of all 13 grape varieties authorized by the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC.

We snagged the last 4 bottles of this old vine Gevrey-Chambertin Burgundy Rouge! The 2020 vintage of this wine is drinking amazingly (the 2021s, not so much😬)

Brushfire Farms Blackberry Pepper Jam

Our Berry Caliente Jam is definitely a crowd favorite! The blackberries provide a tart and tangy flavor with a dark rich purple color and the chile pequin pepper gives it a subtle South Texas heat. Hild Elbling Trocken

When you think about the Upper Mosel forget everything you think you know about it. In the Upper Mosel you won’t find any slate and you won’t find any Riesling. Matthias Hild is bucking the trends. Matthias Hild is pushing the envelope. He operates at his own pace and by his own terms. He marches to the beat of his own drum. Conventional wisdom would say he’s crazy for trying to single-handedly save the old, terraced parcels of Elbling, but its so charming. The returns on an investment like this are so slim they make no business sense, but its moves like this that make winemakers like Hild so intriguing.

This is Elbling, the grape of the Upper Mosel coupled with limestone and screaming with acidity, in a rather good way. The juice undergoes malolactic fermentation to give the wine some roundness. It then spends 9-18 months on the lees, with a bit of dosage (sugar) added, then it is disgorged just as a Champagne would be. An Upper Mosel Champagne method sparkler!

The Mary Taylor Côtes de Gascogne 2023 is a bright and crisp white wine blend, with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and a lip-smacking minerality, showcasing a blend of Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Gros Manseng, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Grape Variety Percentages: 50% Colombard, 30% Ugni Blanc, 15% Gros Maseng, 5% Sauvignon Blanc.
