ONE YEAR. 🤍
Wow. What an incredible journey this has been.
One year ago today, I bought out my partner, put my car up for possible repossession, and put product on those shelves — absolutely terrified I was making the wrong choice. I bet on myself at a time when I wasn’t even sure I was a safe bet. And I would do it again a hundred times over.
EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT WALKS THROUGH THAT DOOR has either taught me a lesson or given me a blessing. Every one. I have listened to your stories — the hard ones, the funny ones, the ones you hadn’t told anybody else — and I have built friendships here that will last the rest of my life. This was never just a shop. It became a place where people feel safe, seen, and welcome, and that is what I am proudest of.
To my customers, and to my staff — PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE — I will never be able to put into words what you have given me. You taught me more in twelve months than I learned in years. You gave me community. You gave me a sense of accomplishment I didn’t know I was capable of. You gave me a reason to unlock those doors every single morning.
ONE YEAR as a woman in an industry that is so heavily male-driven, and we have built something truly unique and special here. And it is NOT because of me. It is because of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. ✨
I am sitting here crying as I write this, because the gratitude is that big. I have LEARNED, EARNED, and LIVED so much, just from people walking through those doors.
So stop in today. Buy something, or don’t. Come say hi, give me a hug, let me thank you to your face — because I want to say it today, and every day after.
