We are thrilled to feature Illahe Vineyards at the shop this Saturday, May 17th from 1 - 6 p.m.! Owner Bethany Ford will be here to tell you all about her special boutique winery, on the newly-created tiny sub-appellation Mt. Pisgah, located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, just west of Salem. We first met Bethany and her team at the winery a couple years ago, and stayed at their guest house for our staff retreat in 2024. We can say first hand, this is truly a world-class winery, setting the bar for winemaking and sustainable farming. Illahe Vineyards has 80 acres planted to Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Viognier, Tempranillo, Gruner Veltliner and others. They are a sustainable, LIVE-certified operation and similar to the Dry Roots Coalition, they are committed to dry farming, with no irrigation for mature vines. Manual harvesting, native yeast, no added sulfites... even delivery of the fruit with horses... and a bicycle pump! It's all part of the natural process at Illahe! We hope you have an opportunity to stop in, taste through these precious wines and hear the passion in Bethany's stories... some of Oregon's finest comes to La Conner this weekend! Featured will be 6 wines from across the country including Muscadet from the Loire, a sparkling Cremant Gamay Noir from Lorraine, Maconnais in Burgundy, a blend from the Cotes du Rhone and a delicious red from the Haut-Medoc in Bordeaux. This carefully curated selection is one not to miss! Come learn more about French wines, the regions and enjoy a glass! We'll offer 20% case discounts on featured wines; mixed cases ok. $5 tasting fee for Hellams members; $10 non.

We're looking forward to hosting Evergreen Family Wines this Saturday, April 19th from 1 - 6 p.m. Evergreen Family (RM Wines) is a management portfolio of various wine labels including Alki, Caliche, Evergreen, Rhody, LuLu, Milbrandt Family and 1889, with wines produced from vineyards owned by Jerry Milbrandt, a pioneer of the Columbia Valley. In 1997, he planted the first vineyards in the Ancient Lakes and Wahluke Slope regions, and now the estate vineyards span 3,000 acres with two processing facilities. RM Wineries focuses on extraordinary value, and education about Washington wine and history. The style of wines in the collection are wines that have fresh, flavorful aromas and unique characteristics; mostly stainless steel aged, with some undergoing barrel fermentation. We'll feature several wines from the portfolio including LuLu Sparkling Blanc de Blanc, Alki, Rhody, Caliche and Milbrandt Family... everything in the line up is under $20/bottle... with the 20% case discount we're talking amazing value! Greetings Everyone!

This Saturday, April 12th from 1 - 6 p.m. we'll feature the fantastic wines of Terra Blanca winery, located in the Red Mountain appellation of Washington. Terra Blanca was founded in 1992 by Keith & ReNae Pilgrim. They purchased 300 acres of Red Mountain property, with Keith recognizing the potential for world-class wines grown on the estate vineyard due to the unique soil composition of the area. A graduate of UC Davis in Geology, Keith produces wines that are full of character, capturing the rich aromatics and flavor profile in his wines that is distinctly Red Mountain . Bordeaux-like in structure, robust from Eastern Washington heat, the wines from this region are unlike any other in the state. We've supported Terra Blanca wines since 2004 and we're excited to have Jasmin Gervin, a wine specialist from the winery, join us to help guide you through the line up. Featured will be 6 wines, all with 20% case discounts... mix and match your case! Not only are these delicious wines, they are very reasonably priced with most under $20/bottle! Glass pours available and as always, no corkage fee for any bottle opened and enjoyed at the shop.
