Elm Street Market Elm Street Market was founded in 1913 and is an Elm City landmark. Known for our fresh shaved steak sandwiches and homemade baked goods!

Our family took over the store in 2011, since being here we have greatly improved and expanded our deli. It began with our smoked in house pulled pork, we then moved to shaving our own steak, curing our own corned beef, etc etc etc
Our bakery department has also become a point of interest in the store with our homemade chocolate chip cookies, rice crispy treats, banana bread, and cannoli

. We have a great beer selection. Domestic, Imports, and a ton of craft. Come in and join us, be part of the family!

Dearest people, we have decided to close the market the end of this month. The current economy, increase in electricity costs and other expenses have made operating the store no fun.
We are taking a 6 month hiatus . ⛵️ We will decide at the end of that time what we’re going to do.⛵️
We appreciate all of you. Please come visit before then. Lots of bargains to clear out the rest of the inventory before then.

Kerry made beef stroganoff today. It’s ready to go in the fridge .
We’ve got burgers in the warmer.
And…. Dave will be here making sandwiches until 7pm.
Don’t forget all the awards we’ve received over the years from those magazines I made up. ( steak and cheese monthly, beef on bread digest etc) we won best of the best from each of them according to me.
Fresh French bread roll, fresh sliced steak, melted America cheese and veggies( mushrooms , onions and peppers )if you like !!
We have all the accoutrements to make a delightful Cuban. No not Elian Gonzalez. The sandwich.
