How many cases did we bring back? 👀

Last week started before sunrise, in the fog, with an empty vehicle and a very full pickup list.

Omaha stops included Quench for Bulltown Brewing , a BIG haul from Anytime — with a killer deal coming tomorrow 👀 — and then casual two+ hour wait at Johnson Brothers for a restock of the usual favorites IYKYK NOWADAYS Gigli Deschutes Brewery Surly Brewing

We’ve been dropping clues in our stories for over a week, and now this reel is your final look. With the proposed h**p ban getting closer, we’re making a point to bring in more brands, more flavors and more choices while we still can.

🐘 NEW TO UN:INEBRIATED: OLIPHANT BREWING

We tried Oliphant Brewing while we were in Minnesota a few weeks ago, and Blueberry Cheesecake Disaster is hands-down one of the best h**p drinks we’ve tried since opening. We immediately tracked down the brewer in Somerset, Wisconsin, set up wholesale and got some headed to Kearney.

We’re starting with three of their 10mg h**p drinks:

🫐🍰 Blueberry Cheesecake Disaster — literally drinking your dessert
🌈 Rainbow Kushy — fruity, colorful and appropriately weird
💚 Super Kushy — another one from their 10mg Kushy lineup

And yes, we realize the timing is interesting. With the federal h**p deadline approaching, why are we STILL adding new brands?

Because choice matters.

One of the proposals to save h**p beverages would also move them into an alcohol-style three-tier distribution system. That could mean small independent shops like ours can no longer simply discover an incredible little producer, call them up and bring their products to Kearney. We’d be limited to products available through approved wholesalers — adding another gatekeeper between small producers, small retailers and YOU.

We’re all for responsible regulation, testing, age restrictions and keeping these products away from kids. We’re not interested in Big Alcohol deciding what adults are allowed to buy.

So while we still have the freedom to hunt down the weird, wonderful and ridiculously good stuff ourselves… we’re going to keep doing exactly that. ✌️
