Two expressions, one awesome foundation.

Pledge Purple is now officially available at Diebels

At the core of both ci**rs is the same celebrated Dunn & Foster Connecticut River Valley Havana-seed wrapper that helped push the 98-rating for the Pledge Prequel. For Purple, that wrapper has been aged for nearly a decade.

Where they begin to differ is beneath the surface.

Pledge Prequel features an Ecuadorian binder with Nicaraguan fillers.
Pledge Purple takes on a different taste with a Mexican binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí, Condega, and Ometepe.

There’s something special about when history finds its way back home. Today a customer brought in this old Fred Diebel pipe that had clearly lived a full life. It seemed the pipe still had a good amount of character left inside. So, instead of letting it fade away, they trusted us to bring it back.

Now, after getting some well deserved care, it managed to clean up very nicely. Seeing these pieces return to Diebels never gets old and it’s a reminder that these pipes aren’t just objects, they’re heirlooms.

We couldn’t wait to share how this one turned out. 🔥

This weekend we had the pleasure of hosting Ci**rs in Rhythm, and we’re still riding the high from how incredibly well it all came together.

Working with Ferio Tego and the American Jazz Museum, we were able to put together something amazing, from the first light to the last note of jazz.

We had great ci**rs, great music, and even better company. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and helped turn Diebels into a room full of conversation, rhythm , and quality time.

A special thank you to Michael Herklots for curating an outstanding tasting and to the Clarence Smith Trio featuring Will Matthews (Grammy Award-winning guitarist for the Count Basie Orchestra) for setting the mood with live jazz that truly brought the night to life.

We’re grateful for the support, the trust, and the shared appreciation for moments like these. If you were there, thank you for being part of it. If you missed it, we promise there’s more to come. 🥃💨🔥
