Today is going to be a gorgeous day in Mt. Jewett, PA. Get out and enjoy it!! Stop at The Big Level 🚂grab a yummy ice cream 🍦 treat and a cold 🥤 drink and pose for a picture 📸 in the 🚂 train. Located 2 miles before the Kinzua Bridge State Park. Open til 5:30 PM today! Tag us in your pictures

Stop in to The Big Level 🚂 today and learn how dynamite 🧨 and nitroglycerin were used to clear out the area for construction of the Kinzua Viaduct in 1882. Did you know that the first bridge was built in 94 days? Do you know why it was built? Did you know Major General Kane paid to build the bridge? Want to know what the 💲 cost was in 1882? Stop into the museum today before 5PM ⏰ and check out all of the cool 😎 artifacts. Also check out the gift shop 🎁 with many Kinzua Bridge items for sale! Something for everyone. Before you leave, grab a cool treat 🍨 from the ice cream freezer.

The Big Level and Kinzua Country Store is open today from 11:00AM to 5:00PM. Stop out to 599 Lindholm Rd in Mt. Jewett on the way to the Kinzua Bridge and check out the gift shop. We have some new chainsaw carvings. You will be amazed ❤️. The leather keychains and bracelets are restocked with some beautiful designs and colors. The Kinzua Bridge prints, bookmarks and coasters are also restocked with some new, vivid prints 💕 There are some new crafts to decorate your home including many wreaths and some pillows and tumblers for your favorite drink. This year we added some handmade wooden cutting boards and coasters, pillows for kids with a pocket for their favorite book, and some glass block Kinzua Bridge banks.

Remember and honor our fallen heroes🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The Big Level🚂has added many more Bucktail/ Civil War artifacts to the museum.

After the parade, service and luncheon at the American Legion, Stop in at 599 Lindholm Rd. and see the pieces of artillery and many other pieces that were acquired from the Battlefields.

After attending the Memorial Day parade, service and luncheon in Mt. Jewett, continue to remember and honor. Stop at 599 Lindholm Rd. and check out the display.

This weekend is a time to remember and honor those who served, who sacrificed, and ultimately gave up their lives for our Freedom🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Brig. General Thomas Kane is one of the many heroes in the local area. The Big Level has a museum 🏛️with many Bucktail/ Civil War🎖️artifacts on display.

The Big Level is open this weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day from 10AM to 5PM each day.

Stop and see the many artifacts at 599 Lindholm Rd. Mt. Jewett, just 2 miles before the Kinzua Bridge that General Kane helped to become a major engineering feat!

As we welcome 2025 🎉we extend our heartfelt thanks for your support! 🚂 The Big Level and Kinzua Country Store has welcomed many visitors to our museum 🏛️ and gift shop 🎁. We have had an exciting first year and we are looking forward to bringing you many 🆕 opportunities in the upcoming year.
