As many have already heard, the store will be closing on March 30.

It has been a difficult decision, but a major surgery and long recovery time for Bobbie Jo will make it nearly impossible to for us to continue.
The store, employees, and customers have been good to us and we greatly appreciate their loyalty.
Some interest in purchasing the operation has been shown, so maybe it is just a remodeling closure.......

If anyone may be interested in acquiring the business and/or properties feel free to contact us. It is going be listed on the market soon.

We are so proud of the seven Kalkaska County small businesses who all received grants totaling $33,000. The program was funded through awards of $10,000 from the Kalkaska County Economic Development Corporation (EDC), $3,000 from Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation and $20,000 from Venture North Funding & Development.

Six of the seven awards went to women-owned businesses! Yesterday, Advanced Office Supply & Printing, From Head to Toe, Our Family Tradition - Pick Kwik, Quirky Headquarters/ Quirky Crate, and Small Town Girls gathered together for a photo! Congratulations to all of you! Sweet Shannon's and Uptown Hair Care with Brandy Ball were also awarded, but are not pictured.
