I won’t take it that far but you are not helping. I am going to need all the help I can get. So Please take a minute to help a brother out….
I am not sad to see long time Senator John Cornyn leave the Senate. I support term limits. But he did say something today that stuck with me, “ Those who show up, decide for those who do not”.
In last Tuesday’s Appling County Election, 34% of our county’s registered voters showed up to vote or submitted an absentee ballot. Some were happy about this percentage. We were 22nd in the state for voting out of 159 counties.
I try to be positive and encouraging. But I am not happy about the 66% who did not show up to vote.
Please let your family and friends know Georgia has a run off election 6/16 and a general election, 11/3. Share our page. Come to our meetings and get involved. Rural Georgia needs to get out the vote. If we do not then the metro areas will be making the decisions for us. Democrats outvoted Republicans statewide in the Primary by 150,000.
Your vote matters. And your not voting matters too.
