Good Afternoon Everyone! I’m writing this post to let you know why you won’t see me at the store, diner, or out and about for a while. I’ve opted to take the advice of my surgeon, family, and friends. It’s time to get my guts fixed. I’ve been putting it off for some time, but having visited the hospital in an emergency state 7 times over the past 3+ years it’s time. The operation will be this coming Wednesday and I’ll spend a day or two in the hospital after the surgery (depends on how invasive it ends up being). After that I’ll be on a strict regimen of rest and relaxation for 2 to 8 weeks (again depending on how invasive the surgery ends up being and whether recissions of my bowel are needed). I can’t say I’m not nervous, but I think I’m more nervous about being away from the store and diner for so long. The most I’ve ever been away has been for an extended weekend. I’ve done my best to prepare for this and am hoping for the best. I’ll update you all via Facebook as I can. Respectfully, Cliff
