I realized I hadn’t updated for a while about Willow….so Willow is up and down still, she has good days and she has bad days. She has hired an attorney to fight for her because she was totally wronged. She is going to Boston Nov 16 to see a board cert avian vet so that is positive news. She’s back up to 850 g tonight. Thank you for the pumpkins Conant Acres!!!

URGENT COMMUNITY NEED

We’re collecting donations to help a couple in New Sharon get their furnace repaired.

The gentleman reached out to me late last night and shared their situation. His wife is living with terminal ALS, and he is disabled and her full-time caregiver. Their furnace isn’t working, so they’re relying on electric heaters. He’s worried about the cost of running them and whether they can keep the home warm enough.

Their story truly broke my heart. If you’re able to help, please send us a private message. Every bit of support would mean so much. ❤️

Through the cold months, we’ll be offering Bless a Family once a month: a free supper for a family in our community who could use a little support.

Each month’s meal might be pizza, a pan of shepherd’s pie, chop suey, or something else we’ve cooked up!

If you know a family who could use a meal, please send us a private message to nominate them for November

The build at Camp Byron is officially underway! It’s happening in just two days time this happened!!

The crew is awesome, thank you guys I can start seeing it along time coming!

Years of hard work, planning, and dreaming are finally coming together. Our ADA-accessible lodge is one step closer to becoming a reality!

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers and supporters. We’re not just building a lodge, we’re building opportunities for those who have served!
