Save the date for our next wine tasting on Saturday June 6th from 3:00 to 6:00pm when an old friend will be in the shop pouring six wines from Sonoma based Jupiter Wine Co. for their very first ever Oregon appearance. These are fresh, food friendly Italian varietals made with a California twist that are perfect for your summer table. $10.00 tasting fee waived with bottle purchase. Can’t wait!

Dolcetto is the “house wine” of Piedmont made for everyday drinking with your crew. It’s always affordable, tasty and designed to be drunk young, typically within 1-3 years of harvest. See you Saturday!

Have you ever been to the Halcon Estate vineyard before? We have. It’s over 2,500 feet in elevation, perched in the mountains of the Yorkville Highlands appellation of Mendocino County. The rolling hills of Halcon sit atop a craggy cliff with soils of fractured shale and mica schist over ancient sandstone bedrock. The growing conditions are as extreme as its terrain, with brisk winds, cool temperatures, and consistent snowfall in the winter. One of the most unique vineyards we have ever visited. The wine being grown there is damn good too. Cheers!
