We celebrate 25 years with Joann Hedrick this week. Joann started with JP when we purchased Larry’s 4-way in Jasper County. She moved to the store manager position and later become one of our very first district managers. She’s seen us grow from just a handful of stores to where we are now. Joann leads a group of high performing stores with managers that genuinely respect and appreciate her support. She is known to be stern, but fair and is a “go-to” within our company for a myriad of things. Thank you for your loyal dedication to JP, Joann. You are appreciated!

Happy 10 Year JP Anniversary to Zach Burden. Zach joined our team when he graduated from college and has filled many roles at JP. While many of the tasks weren’t the most fun, Zach always found humor in some of the most challenging! After a few years at JP, Zach went on to get his law degree, while working full time, gettinging married, raising his twin babies and passing the bar. Whew! Zach, thank you for choosing JP! A leader’s true character is revealed through their interactions with and treatment of the people they lead. James Brown, a member of our c-store leadership team for the last 22 years, is one of the best. His leadership has garnered one of the most tenured teams in our whole network. He’s a fixture at Stark Road Valero and will be missed terribly by his team and the Jackson Lake community. For self explanatory reasons, this was not posted yesterday. I would never want anyone to think our words about Garry Warford were an April Fool’s joke. Happy TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY to the guy that does it all in our quick service restaurant realm! Garry joined us at a time when we were green in the restaurant game. Because of his experience, we’ve grown our food business exponentially. Garry leads our fastest growing segment and does so with bubbling positivity. He always says he cannot do it without some laughter along the way. His sense of humor is contagious and we don’t know what we’d do without him. G - thank you. Happy 5th Anniversary, Jamie Tong! Jamie is a District Manager of c-stores, mostly concentrating in the Atlanta area. Jamie joined JP after many years of above store leadership with Flash Foods & Circle K. Jamie is a champion for her people and constantly comes up with creative ways to motivate her crews & acknowledge those that go the extra mile. Outside of work, Jamie stays busy with her 8 grandchildren, among other things. We are grateful to have Jamie on our team and thankful she chooses JP!
