Congratulations to our May Top Shelfer Mauricio!

"I enjoy sharing my knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits with my coworkers, and I’m always learning from them as well. I look forward to every tasting we have at the store. It’s one of my favorite parts of the job. I especially like stocking wines because it’s helped me build a strong knowledge base. Working at TLS has given me the opportunity to learn so much, and now I feel confident making recommendations to our customers.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about soccer. I love watching my team, Puma play and there’s nothing better than enjoying a cold beer during the match.
My biggest motivation is my family. My girlfriend and my sons, Angel and Maximiliano. They inspire me every day. I also feel motivated the moment I clock in because I truly enjoy working at TLS and I’m always ready to get things done.

And one more thing, I want everyone to know that my soccer team is going to be champions this year."

"I enjoy most about my work is making great connections with all of our amazing customers. I really like getting to know people and making sure everyone has a positive experience. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I like hiking, walking my dog, and snowboarding whenever I get the chance. I’m always up for an adventure, whether it’s finding a new trail or catching fresh powder, and I love anything that gets me outside and moving."

As we wrap up our 40th year in business, we’re recognizing someone who has played a huge role in shaping our journey.

This month’s Top Shelfer goes to our very own CEO, Stephan!

"One of the things I love most about my job is the diversity of people I get to work with. I really appreciate when people take an interest in what they do and are eager to learn more - whether it’s about the business or the products we carry. There are so many opportunities here to grow and expand your knowledge.
I also really enjoy seeing how our staff interacts with customers. It’s not just about ringing someone up and sending them on their way. Our team takes the time to engage in real conversations and build meaningful connections. Whenever I’m out in the community, people often compliment how friendly and thoughtful our staff is. That’s something I’m truly proud of.
Outside of work, I enjoy mountain biking and hiking, and I make sure to spend as much time as I can with my family. My wife Laura and our sons, William and Louis, love living here. It’s such a great place to raise kids, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to raise them in Jackson, where we’re part of a close-knit community.
If I could travel anywhere, I’d love to visit New Zealand and go mountain biking there someday. I’d also love to visit Israel, to explore the history and culture of such a fascinating country.
I’m incredibly grateful for the team I get to work with every day. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to give back to the community or be involved with organizations like the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce or the School Board. Their support makes it possible for me to do those things.
Everyone has their good days and bad days, but what matters most is helping each other have more good days than bad ones."
