📌 Live & Overview Maps to Track the Journey
We are excited to share two essential tools to help you follow the Venerable Monks on their journey! Both maps serve unique purposes, helping you see the big picture and track our daily progress.
1. The Journey Overview Map (The Big Picture)
This map shows the entire 2,300-mile route from Fort Worth, TX, to Washington, D.C., helping us demonstrate the full scope of our pilgrimage.
- Green Line: Shows our planned estimated route and walking direction through all 10 states.
- Green Points: Mark locations we may pass through—click to see our estimated arrival date.
- Orange Icon: Shows our current approximate location on the whole route (updates once daily).
2. The Daily Live Map (Near Real-Time Tracking)
This map is crucial for tracking the Monks' daily movement, ensuring supporters can respectfully meet them on the road today.
- BLUE LINE: Marks the planned walking route for the current day.
- ORANGE ICON (Current Location): Shows the Monks' approximate current location as they walk.
- GREEN ICON (Lunch): Planned stop for the midday meal (Visiting Time: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM).
- BLACK ICON (Night Rest): The final stop where the Monks will rest for the night (Visiting Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM).
- PURPLE ICON: Click this icon near the stops to see the name and/or address of the location.
Tip: Both maps are highly interactive! Please feel free to zoom in and out for greater detail on the route and the specific stops. Both maps can also be a great view for everyone far away to keep track and walk with us in spirit.

Visit Invitation: We warmly invite everyone to visit the Monks at the Lunch and Night Rest stops!
Nightly Update is Key: Please keep an eye on our nightly updates. These posts notify you of the confirmed route and stop details which are then used to populate the Live Map for the next day.
Accuracy: The Live Map updates several times daily, and the Orange Icon (Current Location) can be delayed. The Lunch and Night Stops are the most reliable locations to visit the Monks.
