I am short on help and will be closing the store from 1:00 PM to about 7:00 PM then reopen at about 7:00 PM and remain open till 9:00 PM. I will be going to 4th and main to be with family and friends in honor of my wife Peggy Carpenter. Thanks for your support and understanding.

I want to give a special thanks to Heather Schafer for her good help over the last few months and to Janice Thomas also for her good help. Without their help I would not be able to put in the long hours necessary to keep the store going.

Janice was originally hired as a care giver for Peggy but has also become a real asset and help for me as house keeper, running errands, help in store and especially being available to prepare the special diet that is critical for me to function. Peggy is still in rehab and may be there for a while yet.

I also want to thank the individuals who helped in the past including Diana Malave, Dani Moellenberg, Christine Shanks and Jennifer Freeland. It is and has been a pleasure working with all of you.

The last 100 mile an hour wind storm did a number on the awning in front of the store. We are in the process of trying to find a source and prices to repair or replace the awning. We are open for suggestions or recommendations for some one or company that could do this type of work.
