20 Years…

7300 Days.

20 years ago today, a small cigar shop opened its doors in Hudson, Wisconsin for the very first time.

Originally started by an airline pilot who worked for Perdomo and a local businessman, St. Croix Cigar Co. has grown from an unknown cigar shop people barely knew existed to a cigar shop that gets accolades from both cigar company representatives and fellow cigar shop owners themselves!

20 years may have changed the industry in ways we never dreamed possible, but SCC has, for the most part, stayed the small town cigar shop with a huge and dedicated following. The secret to our success is simple:

“This place is your home. Treat it accordingly. Don’t let anyone into this shop that you wouldn’t want in your home” Hoppy

For everyone who has worked at, smoked at, or supported St. Croix Cigar over the last 20 years, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support and your love.

We at St. Croix Cigar wanted to take a moment and share the passing of one of the true legends in our shop. Bill Sames, who was affectionately known as “Old Bill”, passed away at the age of 91 this past week.

Bill was not only an employee of St. Croix Cigar for many years, he was also a fixture on events like trips to Nicaragua, and the founding of SCC’s “Ashton Patio” behind the shop. Bill was instrumental in helping to create the success we here at SCC enjoy today.

Our thoughts go out to Bill’s family and friends, and the St. Croix CIgar community as well. There will be a gathering at 2 PM this Thursday, May 7th, 2026. Please stop by SCC for further details.

St Croix Cigar opens early on Tuesday's for that cigar smoker that doesn't need to sleep in! 70's Rock Ride playing, coffees on and the selection of Cigar's is amazing! See ya at 8am! Slinging cigar's until 4:30pm. Then Joe takes over til 9pm. He can showcase all the new arrivals!

Got a Blood Medicine – Limited Edition 2026 in hand tonight and this one’s a solid ride.

Medium-to-full body with a smooth draw, putting off rich notes of earth, cedar, and a little pepper on the retro. There’s a subtle sweetness that balances it out, making it an easy, enjoyable smoke all the way through.

The Mopar Man will be slinging Cigar's until 5pm! Get off the couch, shut off the tv and stop on down for a fine cigar and some 70's Rock Ride tunes! Doors opened early! Because that's what we do on Tuesday's.
Bonus today is our resident Duck that takes over the patio. She knows the cigar community is a safe place to hang out.

Take Your Medicine!!!

St. Croix Cigar Co is happy to announce that we now have a limited release from Crowned Heads, the 2026 Blood Medicine B+!!!

This cigar, now in its third year of release as a stand alone, was originally an event only cigar that was produced in greater volumes due to customer demand.

It features a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, Ecuadorian Connecticut binder and all Nicaraguan fillers.

Available while supplies last!!!
