Hey gang! I have what is probably my favorite cigar of all time for you here!
This here is the McFly by Oscar Valladares. Hold on I need to get these out of my system, Doc, I’m LATE for school! Ronald Reagan? THE ACTOR! Jeez that’s heavy, Great Scott!, 1.21 Gigawatts!” Okay I think I’m good, sorry that was LITERALLY killing me. Alright back to the cigar. So this beautiful super medium cigar comes with a Mexican wrapper, a Honduran binder, and a fill that features to***co from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
The wrapper has a really wonderful sweetness to it, that I would say is very close to a refined sugar/ candy type sweetness.
I need to say right now, not a bad thing at all. In fact it might be one of the things I love the most about this cigar. For the â…“ we have a strong earth flavor, as well as a mix of a black and white pepper.
For the ⅔ we have a stronger blast of the nuttiness that I think over powers the earth. The White Pepper over takes the strength of the Black Pepper and adds an extra, light sweetness to the smoke. At the tail end of the ⅔ there’s this really wonderful floral taste that extends through the final ⅓.
The final 3/3 starts with that really nice floral note from the â…”, a really lovely peanut butter-esque flavor, but both dissipate slightly to include a really nice herbal (I wanna say something savory, maybe like a rosemary) note, and more of the white pepper. It was true medium through and through, and paired really well with my Valentine Gin.
I promise you, you won’t regret stopping by and smoking one of these bad boys for yourself!
