We are thrilled to welcome Di Costanzo Wines to the Oenoteca portfolio.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Massimo and Erin Di Costanzo, this independent Napa Valley producer is dedicated to small-production, single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon—w**es that express the identity of each site with precision, freshness and restraint.

Massimo’s w**emaking journey includes formative experience at Marchesi Antinori’s Tignanello estate in Tuscany, followed by work at some of Napa Valley’s most celebrated addresses, including Screaming Eagle, Ovid and Atelier Melka. These experiences helped shape his thoughtful, minimal-intervention approach to w**emaking.

At the heart of the collection is Caldwell Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Block 11, planted in 1983 on the southern rim of Coombsville. Mature vines, mineral-rich volcanic soils and cooling influences from San Pablo Bay produce a Cabernet of remarkable aromatic complexity, expressive fruit and finely structured tannins.

The portfolio continues through several exceptional heritage sites:

• Farella Vineyard— a historic Coombsville vineyard and the foundation of Di Costanzo since its inaugural 2010 vintage
• Montecillo Vineyard— a dramatic, high-elevation Moon Mountain site planted in 1968, organically and dry farmed
• Charlie Smith Vineyard— a rocky, windswept Moon Mountain vineyard producing Cabernet of intensity, energy and structure

These are deeply site-driven w**es that offer a more classical expression of California Cabernet: elegant, complex and exceptionally age-worthy.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Tenuta Licinia (Tenuta Licinia) to Texas.

If I had to name the most controversial meeting I’ve ever had with a w**emaker, it would be the one with James Marshall.

Not because of his wonderfully eccentric personality—but because of the way he introduced himself and his w**es.

James is pure honesty. Sometimes, perhaps, a little too pure. But that is precisely what makes him one of the most fascinating and intriguing w**emakers of his generation.

As he puts it:

“I just worry about the soil. I could talk for hours about soils and all their nuances.”

That honesty doesn’t stop with his personality. You can taste it in every bottle—from the modest parcel that gives us Montepolli to the extraordinary single vineyards of the Grande Rione, where Onda, a 100% Cabernet Franc, and Sasso di Fata are born.

James has never followed a conventional path. After studying for a doctorate in philosophy at Oxford, he walked away to pursue what his grandfather had left him: a piece of Tuscan land and the possibility of creating something truly his own.

The result?

Wines of precision, intensity and remarkable length—delivered with an unmistakable Tuscan accent, refined at Oxford.

James Marshall is not interested in making w**es for everyone.

And that may be exactly why you’ll remember them.

From beautiful Verdigny, Domaine Tabordet is crafting some of the region’s most expressive Sauvignon Blancs.

Family-owned and rooted in both Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, the estate focuses on sustainable viticulture, low-intervention w**emaking, and showcasing the unique character of each terroir.

Keen to have them part of our growing import portfolio!

| J.C RAMONET CUVÉE SPECIALE “MON(T)BABICHE” BOURGOGNE BLANC

Can proudly say, that at OFW, we put our hands on some intriguing bottles more often than we think.

Like in this case, 2009 and 2013 Magnum, a unique production from Ramonet. A production that very few are aware of and truth be told, 30/40 bottles every vintage (for 750s) and 15 for Magnum is definitely not a remarkable amount.

But here we are, with Montbabiche, an assemblage of all the Montrachet plots, Montrachet, Batard Montrachet, Bienvenue Montrachet and Chevalier Montrachet (the first two/three letters make up the name of the cuvée fyi).

Concerning the label, can’t really help you there but I’m sure a long thought process went into designing them.

Based out of Beaune, the husband and wife duo (Christine and David) specializes in sourcing and elevating exceptional terroirs across the region, producing w**es that embody precision, purity, and a true sense of place.

Their cuvée “SuperLune” is the one who got us hooked since the moment we met them in Paris last February!

We’re incredibly proud and happy to have them as part of the Oenoteca Fine Wines portfolio!
