We had a little incident with a car versus our building yesterday. We are currently trying to get a safe entrance re-built for our customers and employees.

We just want to say a thank you to our wonderful employees and their families for helping out during the chaos and making sure everyone and everything is taken care of, and a huge thank you to Josh Castleberry Construction for coming to the rescue and getting the store boarded up and starting on repairs.

UPDATE…..

VILLAGERS!

Road conditions are NOT improving yet! Another update from the POA emergency operations team..... There are car accidents all along DeSoto Blvd. due to the black ice! Any facilities already previously listed as "closed" will remain so - POA offices and the Fitness Center will now try to open at 11am.

The freezing rain has created extremely hazardous road conditions that continue as the morning moves on. The POA is recommending residents wait until later today, at the earliest, to travel on our roads. If you don't have to drive somewhere right now - don't!

For any non-emergency issues, please reach out to Public Services via the form provided on line. The emails from this form go to every Public Services superintendent plus Matt Broom and Ken Unger. It also creates a record for PS to track what's happened.

Stay tuned for further updates - and please stay off the roads whenever possible!

That dry looking pavement is slick as can be this morning! Be careful walking and driving.
