Our employee, Chantel, and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time as her husband, Trent Hoogland, prepares to undergo open-heart surgery at Mayo Clinic this November.
A benefit will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Hospers Community Center to help Trent and his family as they prepare for surgery and the recovery that follows. The event, “Cruisin’ for a Cause • Racing for a Heart,” will include a cruise, silent auction, and free-will donation meal from 5–7 p.m.
If you’re able to attend, join the cruise, enjoy the meal, bid on silent auction items, make a donation, share the benefit, or even just stop by to show your support, it would mean so much to Trent and his family.
Sometimes it really does take a village, and this is one of those times when coming together and showing someone a little extra love can mean the world. Every act of kindness, big or small, can help remind Chantel, Trent, and their family that they are not facing this journey alone.
