We’re family-owned locally operated and that means something here. When Jay pulled in with an overheating car, Shan didn’t just sell her a bottle of coolant and send her on her way. He stayed late, showed her exactly what to do, talked her out of buying extra stuff she didn’t need, and made sure she left safe and a little less stressed. The rest of the crew—counter to off-duty teammate on a bike—treated her like a neighbor, not a transaction.
That’s the difference. Real people. Real help. No corporate script.

New ice cream machine just dropped 🍍🍦
Both flavors lactose-free (pineapple Dole Whip and vanilla)… and apparently the only proper way to quality-check it is a synchronized double-lick.
Teamwork makes the soft-serve work. Come grab one before we eat the whole batch ourselves.

We got it done just in time for the weekend!

Over the years, we’ve worked with a lot of epoxy companies, and we’ve learned there’s a big difference between the best and the rest. Construction Unlimited knocked it out of the park once again, just like they did with our pump islands. The quality, attention to detail, and professionalism are second to none.

A huge shoutout to our own Isaiah McCowan for turning a nightmare into hope for a stranded family right here at Valley View Chevron.
On a snowy December day, the Waterford family from Indiana was in a serious head-on crash on the mountain pass. Cars totaled, injuries, every uber trip cancelled because it was too far, rain pouring down—and they had a flight home to catch from Boise. Tow truck dropped them here with all their luggage, shaken and hurting.
Isaiah saw they were in shock, jumped in: carried bags inside, got ice for the dad’s injured arm, called his father-in-law to rush over with a truck, bagged everything to stay dry in the snow, and helped load it up. Simple acts of kindness? Nope—life-changing ones. The family made their flight, and now they say: “If there’s a Chevron station, that’s where we’re stopping.”
Isaiah says it best: “I care about people. And I would want someone to do that for me.” That’s The Chevron Way, and that’s OUR way every single day!
