đ¨ HEARTWARMING ALERT: This is why weâre ! â¤ď¸âď¸
A huge shoutout to our own Isaiah McCowan for turning a nightmare into hope for a stranded family right here at Valley View Chevron.
On a snowy December day, the Waterford family from Indiana was in a serious head-on crash on the mountain pass. Cars totaled, injuries, every uber trip cancelled because it was too far, rain pouring downâand they had a flight home to catch from Boise. Tow truck dropped them here with all their luggage, shaken and hurting.
Isaiah saw they were in shock, jumped in: carried bags inside, got ice for the dadâs injured arm, called his father-in-law to rush over with a truck, bagged everything to stay dry in the snow, and helped load it up. Simple acts of kindness? Nopeâlife-changing ones. The family made their flight, and now they say: âIf thereâs a Chevron station, thatâs where weâre stopping.â
Isaiah says it best: âI care about people. And I would want someone to do that for me.â Thatâs The Chevron Way, and thatâs OUR way every single day!
