As many of you know, we hold Abby’s Angels near and dear to our hearts. 🩷
Please share their post to get the word out for their current fundraiser, please.

We still accept cash donations for Abby’s through our angel tree at the store if you’d like to stop in and pull a tag off the tree.

I’m exhausted, tired, drained, empty. There are more dogs than homes. More costs than money. More time being given than there is in a day. And truthfully, many days I have to talk myself out of just throwing in the towel. Not because I don’t care, not because I don’t feel we make a difference. But because it’s not enough.
I’m caring for and responsible for so many dogs that I don’t have time to fundraise. I don’t have time to plan meets, to do the extra things. Because those take time and energy, and I have neither. And unfortunately we have to fundraise to continue helping dogs, it’s the double edged sword of rescue.
We haven’t had a really big fundraiser since April. But the costs haven’t stopped. If anything they’ve increased because there are more dogs, more who need extensive care, more who need help.
So I’m challenging you to an impossible task. One that I know is too much, but it’s what we need.
A $100 challenge. I’ll start us off. You match. And then you challenge someone else. Once received, we will add your name to the list below. And don’t forget to comment that you accept, and then challenge someone else.
We just need to find 1000 people to accept that challenge. If we could find 5000 to accept, we wouldn’t have to ask for any help the rest of the year and most of next. If we found 10,000 people to help, it would be life changing for not just the dogs, but in the way we can help them and do more. But for now; we’re looking for 1000 people.
Just 1,000. And we will raise a 100,000 to make it through the year.
It’s possible.
There are millions of people out there.
All we need to do is reach them.

We can either sit here and be helpless and do nothing.
Or we can stand up and say— we’re going to make a difference. We’re going to save lives and make them better.
