We have a small book section here in our gift shop and we recently restocked on “Lincoln’s Kentucky Years” by the late local historian Carl Howell. It’s a great roughly 30 page book covering the background of the area around Hodgen’s Mill, Abe’s parents, and his early childhood here in what would later become LaRue County.
