🇪🇸 Laz is currently traveling through Spain, visiting some of the country’s greatest wine producers. A few days ago, he stopped at one of our longtime favorites, Bodegas Muga.

🍷 Laz is currently traveling through Spain with the Jorge Ordóñez group, visiting some of the country’s most important wine regions and producers. While we can’t be there with him, we can still taste along with him.
🥂 Over the next three days, we’ll be opening some of the favorite wines from his trip, a chance to experience a few of Spain’s truly great wines together here at the store.
🌟Laz was at Avancia in Valdeorras this morning and is at La Caña in Rias Baixas tonight probably drinking these same wines!

🇵🇹☀️ Portugal has definitely put me in a Vinho Verde mood lately.

One of my favorite summer drinks has been the Floral Alvarinho Vinho Verde, and at $16.99 it’s tough to beat. Super fresh, low alcohol, no oak, no hard edges, just crisp citrusy refreshment that drinks almost like a flavorful spritzer.

Perfect for the 95° days ahead, whether with a salad, simple seafood, or just by itself on the porch. Easily one of my top hot-weather picks of the season. 🥂🌿

Porto Followed Me Back to Hoboken 🍷
Just days after returning from Portugal, I had the chance to taste more extraordinary Ports with Cristiano Van Zeller, owner of the historic Van Zeller & Co., the oldest family Port house, dating back to 1620. I may have left Portugal, but Portugal clearly hasn’t left me!

The Extreme Viticulture of the Douro 🍷
The Douro Valley offers some of the most dramatic vineyard landscapes anywhere in the world. Viticulture here can only be described as extreme, with steep terraced vineyards carved into the mountainsides above the river. The region is an easy day’s drive from Porto along Route N222, one of the great wine country drives on earth and a true bucket-list trip for any wine lover.

Vintage Tours 🚗 We met this fantastic couple at the beautiful Hotel Porto Antigo in Cinfães while driving up the Douro Valley. Their company, , offers curated food, wine, and cultural tours through Portugal and Spain in six perfectly restored 1950s-era MG convertibles,
each finished in a different color. Combined with some of the most spectacular scenery I’ve ever experienced, it’s one of the most creative wine travel concepts I’ve come across.
