⛽Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras signed Executive Order No. 11-2026 today, 10/9/2026, temporarily suspending enforcement of specified Montana dyed-fuel restrictions for qualifying commercial motor vehicles directly engaged in agricultural or timber operations. The temporary enforcement suspension is effective immediately and continues through November 23, 2026.

President Trump recently signed an Executive Order for emergency tax relief on diesel fuel, and the Treasury Secretary is expected to issue guidance within five days for implementing federal excise-tax deferral and relief related to this order. At this time, 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲'𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁.
