Gary Stortz, age 76, of Highlandville, IA, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. Funeral Service will be at 1100 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Big Canoe Lutheran Church, with Rev. Matthew Becker presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation...

For those of you missing Highlandville, spring is just around the corner!! After a heavy snow fall this week it was the perfect day with close to 50 degrees and the snow slowly melting. The sounds of the stream are so peaceful on this beautiful first day of Spring!!!
