This week’s Deck Days tasting is a glorious grab bag of bottles: whites, reds, rosés, bubbles, funky little oddballs, and whatever else Rupert decided deserved a spot on the table. No single region. No single style. No unnecessary rules. Just a little of this, a little of that, and hopefully a lot of very good w**e.

Every Saturday this August, the Chief Canine W**e Officer is taking over the deck at Wags & W**e with a fresh tasting theme, a suspiciously ambitious wardrobe and absolutely no respect for a quiet weekend.

🌴 August 1: California Dreaming
A sunny tour through the w**es of California, minus the airfare, traffic and celebrity sightings.

🩷 August 8: Rosé All Day
Crisp, refreshing rosés hosted by Rupert in a pink elephant costume. He committed to the theme. Deeply.

❄️ August 15: Slushie Saturday
Frosty, fruity slushies made with w**e and spirits. Brain freeze has finally become sophisticated.

💎 August 22: Hidden Gems
Rupert sniffs out the under-the-radar bottles that deserve more attention, praise and shelf space.

🍸 August 29: Cocktail Creations
Learn how to turn our selection of spirits into clever cocktails. Shaking encouraged. Fetching optional.

Meet Wally! 💙

He stopped in wearing his summer best: an adorable Hawaiian shirt. 🌺
Of course, a fashionable guy like Wally couldn't leave empty-pawed. He went home with a brand-new banana sweater. 🍌
High fashion is Wally's passion. 💛

Between his tiny paws, wagging tail, and sweet personality, Wally had everyone smiling from the moment he walked through the door. We loved having him stop in, and we hope to see him back for another visit soon!

🧪🍷 Rupert has entered the lab. Things are bubbling.

This Saturday, our Deck Days of Summer tasting series gets delightfully weird with a lineup of funky natural w**es.

We’re talking bottles that are a little wild, a little unexpected, and very much worth meeting. Some may sparkle. Some may shimmy. Some may make you tilt your head and say, “Wait… why do I love this?”

Rupert has been hard at work in his highly questionable w**e laboratory selecting weird w**es that work, and he would like everyone to know that the goggles are for science, not because last week got “complicated.”

This Saturday, our Deck Days of Summer tasting series is taking a delicious detour through the w**es of Spain & Portugal.

Rupert has been hard at work selecting a lineup full of sun-soaked reds, crisp whites, coastal charm, bold flavors, and a few “where has this been all my life?” bottles from two of Europe’s most exciting w**e regions.

Think: Rioja, Douro, Albariño, and other Iberian gems that are perfect for summer sipping, deck lounging, dinner pairing, and pretending you’re on a tiled terrace overlooking the sea. Tiny mental vacation included. 🌊

🐾 PUP OF THE WEEK 🐾

Meet Max! 💙

At just 6 months old, Max is full of curiosity, excitement, and puppy enthusiasm. Every toy was worth investigating, every corner of the shop needed a sniff, and every treat was definitely worth asking about.

Let's just say... Max was having so much fun that he got a little too excited and threw himself a tiny piddle party. 😂🐶 We think that's about as official of a Wags & W**e welcome as it gets!

After making himself right at home, Max settled in with a tasty chew and happily showed off his sweetest puppy personality. We can't wait to watch this handsome guy grow up and come back for more adventures.

🍷 Rupert has been working his paws off to sniff out the best w**es for this week’s Deck Days of Summer tasting.

Tomorrow, he’s serving up a lineup of summer-friendly red w**es that are a little lighter, a little livelier, and perfect for warm-weather sipping. We’ll be pouring a lineup that includes some delightfully unexpected sparkling reds, along with other unique, lighter-style reds that prove warm weather doesn’t mean you have to abandon red w**e until fall.
