"Mother of Bourbon"

Mary Dowling Whiskey Co co-founded by Kaveh Zamanian (the founder of Rabbit Hole Distillery) to honor Mary Dowling. Known as the "Mother of Bourbon," she was a pioneering pre-Prohibition female distiller who famously moved her entire distilling operation to Mexico to bypass U.S. Prohibition laws.

The blue label, 93 proof, is a high-rye bourbon aged for a minimum of four years in charred oak before being finished in Appalachian American Oak tequila barrels that previously held Reposado tequila. A nod to Mary's Mexican roots.

Classic caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon, followed by a lighter, unique finish featuring hints of agave, black pepper, citrus, and grapefruit.

The purple label, 91 proof, and instead of using rye as the secondary grain, this mash bill uses a heavy concentration of winter wheat (65% corn, 25% wheat, 10% malted barley). It undergoes aging in wood-fired, heavily toasted, and charred new American oak barrels.

Creamy mouthfeel dominated by vanilla cream, candy corn, bright cherry, and baked apples, closing out with mild baking spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.
