Syrah
Juicy dark fruits, smooth tannins, a touch of oak aging, and rounded out with a bit of pepper towards the finish… it is a little too smooth, stock up, everyone will love this one!

Padre Pedro 2021 Colheita Selecionada - Trjo, Portugal
The Padre Pedro vineyard was planted by a monk 150 years ago… grapes: Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional, and Alfrocheiro. It is a cherry bomb. Find Bing, black and red cherry tones throughout with a nice Kirsch liqueur note midpalate that hangs for a while. The finish, in fact the entire sipping experience, is very smooth. Mild tannins lend a pleasant linger texture… an outstanding value, a beautiful label, and a perfect pairing with dark chocolate!!!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot… all this happiness is only $14.99 a bottle!

Summer Weather Wines
Here are two great wines to enjoy with the sunshine!

Ruttenstock 2023 Gruner Veltliner - Roschitz, Austria
This wine has everything going for it... Gruner is sort of like a Sauvignon Blanc. You will find citrus tones alongside orange blossoms, flowers, and a hint of white pepper. Nice and dry with a touch of minerals, but low in acid... so just clean and fresh without any bite.

Extra kicker - this is a 1-liter bottle. That’s right, an extra 8.5 ounces of wine in every bottle - that’s two more glasses for most of us!!
The enclosure is a Stelvin twist top, no corkscrew necessary!

Domaine de Pere Caboche Vaucluse Red Blend - Vaucluse, France
The Caboche family produces some of the best wines in the southern Rhone Valley of France and produces wine in Vaucluse. Vaucluse being a neighboring area with breathtaking scenery, mountains, and even their own indigenous grapes. The primary grapes in this blend are Caladoc & Marselan - with smaller amounts of Syrah and Grenache. How does it tastes??? Though a fuller wine, there is no use of oak, and the tannins are mild… so, we have a high volume, rich velvety red that goes down too easy at 14.5% and will pair with literally anything off the grill - a summer masterpiece!!!
