From Boone County Judge, Mitchell Archer: Speaking with the County Fire Coordinator, Office of Emergency Management, and the Forestry Commission, the decision has been made to issue a BURN BAN, effective immediately, September 1, 2026, for all of Boone County.

Public notification is underway at this time. Please help us spread the word.

Update on parking lot incident. We did have a customer that had dash cam video and contacted the police and it is being handled.

Unfortunately our cameras didn’t catch anything except them pulling off the road into the parking lot. If anyone happened to see this happen or maybe has dash cam footage please reach out. We also apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone coming to the store because of people that were going across the road for a free meal may have caused. The bank did not have permission to use our parking lot and we were unaware until this morning that people were directed over here to park.
